King Salman Center distributes aid to displaced of Ma’rib and Al-Jawf
On Sunday, the King Salman Center in Marib launched the distribution of emergency food aid to the newly displaced from the areas of clashes as part of a project to secure and distribute food, shelter and non-food aid, including 1584 food baskets.
During the inauguration, the director of KSRelief office in Marib, Abdul Rahman Al-Sairi, announced that “this intervention came in response to the humanitarian call made by the local authorities in the governorates of Ma’rib and Al-Jawf after the increase in the number of displaced people due to their displacement from the conflict areas.”
For his part, the Director of the Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons Camps in Al-Jawf Governorate, Fahad Jarallah, said, “KSRelief is always a race in humanitarian work in Al-Jawf Governorate.”
In turn, the Camp Management Officer of Displaced Persons Camps Management in Marib, Khaled Al-Shajni, stressed the need to intensify humanitarian efforts after the increase in the number of displaced people in Marib, extending his thanks to the King Salman Center for its interventions to provide relief to the displaced in the governorate.
To that, the Director of the Office of the Good Coalition for Humanitarian Relief in Marib, Abdul Khaleq bin Muslim, stated that “there are more than 9,504 beneficiaries of emergency food supplies provided by KSRelief for Al-Jawf and Marib .”
