JAX Ramadan Market: Where Culture Meets Cuisine

The Diriyah Biennale Foundation will open its JAX Ramadan Market on Thursday, bringing together local cuisines, cultural programming and creative activities, according to Arab News.

Running through March 7, the market will provide visitors with a unique atmosphere that honors the spirit of Ramadan, while celebrating tradition and contemporary creativity.

The main passage of the JAX Ramadan Market will feature vendor kiosks and curated food and beverage experiences.

Visitors can also find dedicated spaces designed for photography and relaxation.

With the aim of offering a rich culinary journey, the diverse kiosks will showcase both traditional and contemporary Ramadan foods such as jareesh, saleeg, luqaimat, mutabbaq, and samboosa.

The dishes will be served alongside fresh juices, specialty beverages, sweets, and dates.

Meanwhile, retail kiosks will boast a carefully curated selection ranging from ready‑to‑wear fashion and accessories to beauty products and gifts.

Moreover, the JAX Ramadan Market will host a vibrant cultural program designed for visitors of all ages. The schedule includes storytelling sessions, traditional games, and henna artistry.

Through a series of competitions, performances and group lessons, the JAX Ramadan Market will transform the district’s public spaces into dynamic hubs of creativity and community.

There, visitors will also have the chance to immerse themselves in the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale 2026, titled “In Interludes and Transitions.”

They can tour the district’s surrounding galleries, exhibition spaces, and open studios.

The JAX Ramadan Market will welcome visitors daily from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
