Japanese Prime Minister arrives in Jeddah

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida arrived in Jeddah today, Sunday, on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) today, Kishida was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Japan Nayef Al-Fahadi, and Japan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Fumio Iwai.

The Japanese Prime Minister’s visit to the Kingdom comes with a four-day Gulf tour, during which he will also visit the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. He intends to strengthen “resource diplomacy” with the three countries in the energy field.
