The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property has revealed the verbal court ruling against an institution that assaulted a media company’s creative designs without obtaining permission to use them.
It is explained that the ruling was issued obliging the corporation to compensate the company with an amount of 22 thousand riyals, in addition to a fine of 43 thousand riyals, and the confiscation and destruction of the seizures.
The authority stressed the need to obtain written permission from the owner of the creative and intellectual property rights to use literary and artistic works to avoid legal penalties.
