Houthi Militias launch missile toward Jazan, 5 civilians injured

According to the state news agency SPA, there are five Saudi civilians were wounded on Saturday after a missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi militia dropped in Jazan, southwestern Saudi Arabia .

Col. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, media spokesperson for the directorate of civil defense in the Jazan area, said that “the directorate had received a report on the fall of a military projectile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from inside Yemen to one of the border villages in the Al-Harath governorate in the Jazan area.”

Al-Ghamdi said the missile damaged civilian property protected under international humanitarian law and three vehicles.

Five people were injured by shrapnel and were taken to the hospital. The statement said “their health condition is stable, and the procedures adopted in such cases have also been directly implemented.”
