GCC Chief, Swiss Vice President Sign MoU to Launch Strategic Dialogue

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi and Swiss Confederation Vice President Ignazio Cassis today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a bilateral strategic dialogue.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the 56th annual World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

The MoU reflects the GCC and Switzerland’s shared commitment to strengthening their close bilateral relations and advancing their strategic partnership across multiple sectors.

Albudaiwi highlighted that the agreement represents a significant step in enhancing cooperation and partnership between the GCC and Switzerland, paving the way for broader coordination and consultation on areas of mutual interest.

Following the signing ceremony, Albudaiwi and Cassis held a bilateral meeting to explore opportunities to further develop ties and exchange perspectives on regional and international developments.
