Estonian Minister of Economy and Industry, Erkki Keldo, stated that the development of entrepreneurship strategies, in partnership with local companies, has played a key role in fostering the attraction of entrepreneurs.
During a panel discussion at the “Biban 24” Forum, he emphasized that entrepreneurship should drive this global movement, rather than being hindered by regulations and organizational structures.
He also highlighted the significance of facilitating access to capital for startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), viewing the involvement of innovative individuals as a key foundation for project success.
Additionally, the Estonian minister highlighted that entrepreneurship is built on three essential pillars: technology, human resources, and easy access to capital.
He emphasized that Estonia’s thriving startup ecosystem and supportive policies make it an ideal environment for entrepreneurs to launch and scale their ventures. Additionally, he noted that Estonia‘s advanced digital infrastructure, such as e-residency and its efficient e-government services. This makes it a pioneer in the digital world. As a result, the country has attracted global talent and investment, positioning itself as a leader in the global tech landscape.
