Desert X AlUla Reveals Acclaimed Saudi, International Artist Lineup for 2026

Arts AlUla has announced the participating Saudi and international artists for the fourth edition of Desert X AlUla, the internationally renowned open-air art exhibition presented in collaboration with Desert X.

Taking place from January 16 to February 28, 2026, the exhibition will showcase an outstanding collection of newly commissioned works. Additionally, these include monumental installations, sound-based pieces embedded within and beneath the desert terrain, kinetic artworks, and immersive interactive experiences.

The exhibition draws deeply from AlUla’s distinctive environment, celebrating its dramatic natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. As the region’s first public art biennial, Desert X AlUla 2026 will feature works by 11 artists, each bringing diverse perspectives, materials, and artistic traditions to large-scale site-specific creations.

Beyond visual art, the program offers a vibrant schedule of performances and interactive activities for families, alongside curated experiences that integrate sound, movement, storytelling, and play. The visitor pavilion will also host a live music program curated in collaboration with AlUla Music Hub, fostering moments where art, nature, and community come together through rhythm and a shared sense of place.

Finally, Arts AlUla confirmed that Desert X AlUla 2026 will be open to the public, with free tickets available for reservation through the official website, experiencealula.com.
