Crown Prince: Consolidating Principles of Justice & Transparency To Guarantee Rights
His Highness the Crown Prince announced the development of the system of specialized legislation, composed of the draft personal status system, the draft civil transactions system, the draft penal system for discretionary penalties, and the draft evidentiary system. This came as a result of the wise leadership, its endeavor to consolidate the principles of justice and transparency and to guarantee rights in order to achieve the homeland prosperity.
Noteworthy, developing the system of specialized legislation will allow the Kingdom to keep pace with the requirements of life and contemporary developments. It will consider the emerging legal principles, and take into account the Kingdom’s commitments to international conventions and agreements that it has acceded to, based on the provisions of Islamic law.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, are interested in everything that guarantees the development of legislative work in the Kingdom.
These legislations will contribute towards continuously supporting the process of developing regulations and legislation in the Kingdom through establishing justice, preserving and stabilizing rights, as well as strengthening justice.
The announcement of these legislations will contribute towards raising the efficiency of the judicial system, as it is an important shift in the legislative environment and will achieve more transparency and clarity in human rights systems.
