The General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences is currently hosting the CoMotion Global summit 2025 in Riyadh, bringing together decision-makers and leaders from public and private sectors, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Running through December 9, the three-day summit will explore how electrification, autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence and large-scale urban developments are transforming mobility worldwide.
With the participation of experts, investors, as well as innovators from all over the world, the event will spotlight Saudi Arabia’s emergence as a real-world testbed for next-generation transport solutions.

Two New Initiatives
The 2025 edition will also highlight the launch of two new initiatives —the “CoMotion Urban Visionary Distinction” and “Mayors in Motion,” designed to further enhance international cooperation in urban innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable transport.
“From ministers to mayors to the world’s most inventive technologists, the conversation is clear: the next decade of mobility transformation will be shaped at the city level. Riyadh is the perfect host for that dialogue – bold, ambitious, and redefining what a future-ready city can be,” Rossant added.
Dynamic Program
Notably, the summit will showcase the most prominent development projects in the Kingdom, such as Riyadh’s expanding transport infrastructure, including its metro megaproject.
It will also focus on the swift adoption of electric vehicle and preparations to host major global events for instance, Expo 2030 and the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
To further solidify the summit’s position as a global hub for expertise exchange, the program will review global experiences in Africa, Latin America, China, Europe and North America, with discussions on the urban future of cities and the use of smart technologies in urban traffic management.
By hosting the CoMotion Global summit 2025, Saudi Arabia reinforces its efforts to build smarter and more sustainable future cities and to drive innovation in the urban transport sector in line with the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
