The Sports Boulevard project in Riyadh has emerged as a leading destination for sports and entertainment, offering an integrated urban environment that promotes healthy lifestyles and enhances the quality of life, particularly during Ramadan.
The Sports Boulevard Foundation, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, supervises the project, which is a key component of Vision 2030’s goal of making Riyadh a vibrant and active city. It was launched on March 19, 2019, under the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Spanning 135 kilometers, the linear park connects western and eastern Riyadh, featuring dedicated paths for walking, running, and cycling, as well as a variety of integrated facilities that provide a complete sports and leisure experience.
Sports Boulevard
During Ramadan, the Sports Boulevard has become a popular spot for residents and visitors to exercise and enjoy the outdoors after iftar. The venue hosts a range of activities, including cycling and running races, along with other sports and entertainment events that foster a culture of fitness within the community.
As development continues in the remaining phases, the Sports Boulevard is set to become a year-round hub, blending sports, entertainment, and nature in a modern, dynamic setting that caters to the aspirations of Riyadh’s residents and visitors.
