The 24th Biban Forum, organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at). It will take place over five days, from November 5 to November 9.
It will host more than 250 speakers from entrepreneurs, government agencies, local and international companies, and the third sector. They will discuss several important topics in the field of investment and entrepreneurship.
The forum kicks off under the slogan “A Global Destination for Opportunities,” featuring a select group of policymakers, strategic experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and economists from around the world. It will also include a distinguished group of local leaders, among whom are Prince Khaled bin Walid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the founder and CEO of KBW Ventures; Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Mr. Bandar Al-Khorayef; Dr. Badr Al-Badr, CEO of the Misk Foundation; and the CEO of the Social Development Bank, Engineer Sultan Al-Humaidi.
The forum also includes a series of discussion sessions and workshops that inspire entrepreneurs by presenting innovative solutions in the fields of investment and entrepreneurship. Moreover, it aims to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a leading destination for entrepreneurship both regionally and internationally.
Monsha’at
Monsha’at explained that the innovation section of the Biban 24 Forum includes four main areas, aiming to enhance the creative aspects of entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises.
It explained that the innovation section defines the innovation system through a set of initiatives and services, and also contributes to building sustainable practical relationships between innovative entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized innovative enterprises, and between entities capable of providing opportunities to support innovation, with the aim of accelerating the entry of more commercial innovations into the market.
Monsha’at added that the innovation door includes four areas: “Innovation System Entities,” which host four leading entities in the field of innovation support, and “Innovation Laboratories.” It includes three laboratories equipped with prototyping devices and model building tools to enable entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into prototypes.
Innovative Products Zone
Monsha’at continued that the “Innovative Products Zone” provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to present their interactive and tangible projects, while the “Theater and Competitions Zone” provides innovators with the opportunity to present their projects to visitors and potential investors, as each project is given 20 minutes to introduce its products and 10 minutes to answer attendees’ inquiries.
The zone also includes organizing hackathons and interactive competitions to enhance innovation and participation.
Biban 24 is a unique event that brings together leaders in entrepreneurship to showcase new ideas and visions that enhance investment opportunities and the development of entrepreneurship. This gathering represents an important step towards building strategic partnerships that contribute to economic growth and enhance innovation on a global scale.
