The CEO of the General Entertainment Authority crowned Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka as the champion of the Riyadh Season Cup.
Sabalenka defeated her counterpart Ons Jabeur with scores of 4:6, 6:3, 6:2, in tennis match yesterday at the Kingdom Arena.

Sabalenka emphasized that her match against Ons Jabeur was of high caliber and enjoyable, according to Saudi Press Agency.
Aryna Sabalenka’s Impressive Career
Aryna Sabalenka, a 25-year-old Belarusian, has excelled in tennis tournaments. Remarkably, she reached the number one spot in singles last September. Sabalenka has won 13 single titles, including the 2023 Australian Open and Madrid Open.
Additionally, she has 6 doubles titles, with the 2021 Australian Open among them. Starting tennis at age six, she is now a prominent player. Her career includes many achievements and titles in both continental and international tournaments.
Ons Jabeur’s Pride in Arab Representation
Ons Jabeur expressed her pride in playing in an Arab country, appreciating the significant support from the audience. She hopes to have met the expectations of tennis fans and professionals. Jabeur achieved second place in singles competitions in 2022 and currently holds the sixth position in singles.
Throughout her professional career, she has won five single titles and reached the Wimbledon final in 2023.
