Algeria celebrates its 60th independence anniversary with a military parade

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of independence, under the supervision of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a huge military parade of the Algerian army kicked off this morning, in the capital, in the presence of senior officials.

Along National Road No. 11, adjacent to the Algeria Mosque towards the Mokhtar Zerhouni neighborhood of Mohammedia, thousands of citizens watched the military parade of the army, as the streets of the capital witnessed the largest parade of the units and forces of the People’s National Army since independence, as part of the celebrations commemorating the seizure of national sovereignty.

At the outset, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, along with the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Said Chanegriha, saluted the various forces, such as the navy, air, land, and Special Forces, as well as the nation’s cubs.

Meanwhile, the Algerian forces fired the cannons, announcing the start of the largest military parade of its kind in 33 years.

According to the pictures and brief scenes shown from the preparations for the military parade, the leadership of the Algerian army has decided to bring out all that Algeria has of models of advanced weapons, on this day.
