The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has launched Al-Touqi Season, the reserve’s first integrated ecotourism season, designed to foster sustainable tourism, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Set to run from October 2025 to April 2026, the season was unveiled during a stunning creative ceremony held in the Al-Touqi area with the participation of representatives from government and environmental agencies, the private sector, and various media outlets.
With the launch of the season, the reserve opens its doors and welcomes visitors and tourists from both inside and outside the Kingdom, inviting them to explore its diverse natural landscapes and rich biodiversity.
Al-Touqi Season also features five specialized operators, each providing visitors with a unique location and a wide range of activities.
Interestingly, visitors can enjoy a vast array of entertaining activities such as paragliding, horseback riding, camel riding, and cycling.
Moreover, the season offers opportunities for relaxation and meditation beneath the clear desert skies, as well as heritage excursions, birdwatching experiences, and nature photography sessions.
The initiative reflects the reserve’s dedication to solidifying its position as a pioneering national destination for sustainable tourism. It also underscores its commitment to boosting environmental sustainability and enhancing quality of life, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
