The second edition of the Najrani Al-Ruqsh Festival will kick off on Wednesday, December 10, at the Historic Emirate Palace in the Aba Al-Saud neighborhood, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The festival will feature a vibrant five-day program that includes live cooking shows, showcases of local products, traditional seating areas, heritage markets, and a selection of specialty coffee brands.
To ensure an unmissable cultural experience, the event will also introduce traditional crafts, entertainment zones, and a children’s theater, offering an immersive experience for visitors of all ages.
Al-Ruqsh, one of Najran’s most traditional dishes, is showcased as a culinary cornerstone of the Najrani table.
Therefore, the festival seeks to revive the region’s signature dishes, connect younger generations with their culinary heritage, and empower families in the cottage industry. It also supports local chefs by offering dedicated spaces to prepare and showcase Al-Ruqsh within a platform that reflects authentic Najrani life.
