Al-Miniyeh Ambulance in North Lebanon Completes 55 Missions in One Week with King Salman Relief Funding
The ambulance service of the Subul Al Salam Social Association in the Al-Miniyeh area, north of Lebanon, carried out 55 ambulance missions during the period from September 6 to 12, 2024, with funding from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid.
The tasks varied between transporting patients to and from hospitals and providing emergency services for road accident victims in the city of Al-Miniyeh. This comes as part of a project to support ambulance services and transportation in refugee areas and the host community in Lebanon.
The initiative aims to enhance the response time for medical emergencies and improve access to healthcare for vulnerable populations. Additionally, the project has provided critical training to paramedics and first responders, equipping them with the necessary skills to handle complex situations.
By addressing the urgent healthcare needs of both refugees and local residents, the program has made significant contributions to community well-being. Overall, it serves as a vital lifeline for areas facing limited medical infrastructure and high demand for emergency services.
