The RAQAF Aseer Local Filmmakers Gathering, organized by the Aseer Region Development Authority in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts’ Abha branch, kicked off yesterday.
Running for three days in Abha’s Al-Muftaha district, the event showcases local film screenings, hosts specialized training workshops, and offers dialogue sessions that connect filmmakers with other creative professionals.
The gathering seeks to strengthen art’s role in community development, empower aspiring youth, and provide an interactive platform for participants to learn from leading industry experiences—aligning with Vision 2030’s cultural sector objectives.
