Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz University’s (KAU) Chinese Culture and Science Institute signed a landmark cooperation agreement with a Chinese language institute in Jeddah, with the aim to developing joint training and academic programs, promoting essential cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and China.
Furthermore, the agreement outlines concrete plans for organizing cultural events, scientific exhibitions, and advanced Chinese language courses. Moreover, the two institutions will collaboratively launch specific research projects as a vital component of this academic alliance.

Enhancing Skills and Saudi Vision Alignment
Chinese Culture and Science Institute Dean Dr. Mohannad Abed emphasized the agreement’s crucial role in developing Chinese language skills among interested students and individuals, noting that the initiative directly facilitates specialized joint training programs and practical workshops.
Crucially, these programs directly align with Saudi Vision 2030’s ambitious goals for educational excellence and profound cultural openness. Ultimately, this collaboration represents a vital step toward enriching the academic and cultural landscape in Jeddah, as it enhances efforts to build bridges of understanding and cultural rapprochement, aligning with national trends that support quality education and international cooperation.
By fostering these educational initiatives, KAU continues to play a crucial role in promoting the Chinese language and culture within Saudi Arabia, contributing to the Kingdom’s broader educational goals.
