
The Board of Directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) convened its third meeting of 2025 in El Salvador, with the participation of Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Angari, President of the General Court of Audit and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Authority for Internal Auditors. Dr. Al-Angari also serves as a member of the IIA Board.
During the session, the Board reviewed the key activities and achievements of the third quarter of 2025, discussed the items on its agenda, and adopted a number of recommendations and decisions.
The IIA Board reaffirmed its commitment to advancing professional standards and promoting awareness of the importance of internal auditing in line with the latest global technical and professional developments. It also emphasized the ongoing development of strategies and future plans to enhance the profession’s growth, broaden its scope, and ensure it keeps pace with scientific and technological progress.
