Under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and following the recommendation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia has announced new economic development support for Yemen totaling SAR 1,380,250,000.

This assistance responds to the appeal of Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and reaffirms the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to supporting Yemen’s leadership and government amid the country’s difficult economic conditions.
The funds, provided through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, will back the Yemeni government’s budget, subsidize petroleum derivatives, and finance the operating budget of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden Governorate. These measures aim to promote economic, financial, and monetary stability, enhance governance, and support Yemen’s broader reform and development efforts.
