Dutch esports star Manuel Bachoore has secured the EA Sports FC 25 Championship title, overcoming France’s Brice Masson with a 5–3 victory in the grand final of the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) — the world’s largest gaming and esports festival.

Bachoore’s triumph earned him a $250,000 prize and 1,000 points for his organization, Team Liquid, solidifying their lead in the club championship standings. Masson, the runner-up, claimed $150,000 and 750 points for Team Vitality.

This victory concludes the EA Sports FC 25 segment of the EWC’s fifth week. The event’s unique cross-game format brings together elite clubs from around the globe to compete across multiple top-tier titles, all chasing a share of the largest prize pool in esports history — exceeding $70 million.
