For the first time, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has unveiled the AI-powered “Falcon” drone to enhance firefighting and rescue operations during the Hajj 2025 season. This innovative deployment aims to address emergencies in high-risk or hard-to-reach areas, ensuring pilgrims’ safety.

Advanced Features Enhance Emergency Response
The drone “Falcon” operates continuously for up to 12 hours, reaching high altitudes while carrying a payload of approximately 40 kilograms. Equipped with multi-purpose firefighting capabilities, rescue systems, thermal imaging cameras, and live site transmission, it integrates seamlessly with the central command center.

Consequently, “Falcon” serves multiple critical functions across diverse environments. These include towering buildings, complex industrial sites, and areas housing hazardous materials.
