
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the territory of the Lebanese Republic and reiterated its firm rejection of the Israeli incursion into Lebanese land and the violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty.
The Kingdom called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in stopping this aggression and preventing further Israeli military actions aimed at expanding into Lebanese territory.
Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty and ensuring the security of the Lebanese people in accordance with relevant international agreements. In this context, the Kingdom reaffirmed the importance of adhering to the Taif Agreement in a way that supports the extension of Lebanese state authority across all Lebanese territory and upholds the Lebanese government’s decisions to limit the possession of arms exclusively to the state and its legitimate institutions, thereby contributing to the restoration of security and stability for Lebanon and its people.
