The National Portal for Hobbies, Hawi, is currently hosting the Hawi Baloot Tournament in Riyadh from November 14 to 15, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The event serves as a prestigious platform for all Baloot enthusiasts to purse their hobbies and have fun with competitions.
Taking place at King Saud University, the tournament aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 to boost the hobby sector.

Crucially, the tournament follows the Swiss system format, with five rounds of play.
Consequently, the top four teams will qualify for the knockout stage to compete for the top spots.
With a total prize pool of SR20,000 ($5,300), the competition adheres to public morals and dress code.

As part of the Quality of Life Program, Hawi is always organizing various tournaments to encourage people to practice their hobbies on a wider scale.
The hobby sector in the Kingdom has made bold strides and offered numerous activities and competitions in collaboration with 12 government entities.
