Prince Sultan Highlights Saudi Arabia’s Aviation Aspirations

Prince Sultan Bin Salman, Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, addressed attendees, underlining Saudi Arabia’s drive to become a leading aviation hub. He said, “Sand & Fun 2024 demonstrates the Kingdom’s commitment to expanding its aviation capabilities and inspiring future generations. Vision 2030 aims to make Saudi Arabia a regional aviation leader, fostering innovation and creating youth opportunities.”

Prince Sultan, the first Arab astronaut, also spoke on the significance of the Saudi Aviation Club’s role. He noted that over 450 pilots have now been trained by the club, which has grown with new branches and partnerships, including those with Aramco. He highlighted an exciting lineup for the airshow, including air displays and a 2,000-drone night show.
