Ministry of Foreign Affairs Expresses its Deep Concern Regional Military Escalation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s deep concern regarding the developments of the military escalation in the region and the seriousness of its repercussions.
The Ministry called on all parties to exercise the utmost restraint and spare the region and its peoples from the dangers of war.
The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s position calling for the need for the Security Council to assume its responsibility towards maintaining international peace and security, especially in this region that is extremely sensitive to global peace and security.
It urged the Council to prevent the escalation of the crisis that will have serious consequences if it expands.
