KSA Makes Pilgrimage Easier With Portable Air Conditioner

The Hajj and Umrah Charitable Gift Association has released a new type of a portable air conditioner to serve the pilgrims by alleviating summer heat, reported Al Arabiya.

The portable air conditioner is one of the most prominent innovative products offered by the association for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors in 2024.

It is part of the association’s creative programs and services that make it easier for pilgrims to move during their pilgrimage, whether in Mecca, the Holy Mosque, the holy sites, or the Prophet’s Mosque.

Hajj and Umrah Association’s Efforts

 

“The association annually works on presenting initiatives and innovative solutions to serve the Hajj, Umrah performers, and visitors. It strives for its products to be highly beneficial and effective during the spiritual journey,” said the association’s CEO Turki Al-Hetershi to Al-Arabiya.net.

Effective & Convenient Air Conditioner

He said the portable air conditioner features rapid cooling technology and 360-degree airflow coverage.

The device can provide its cooling effect for up to 12 hours on only 4 hours of charging.

He added that the air conditioner also includes a smart temperature control unit with three cooling speeds.

Featuring both fan mode and heating mode, the smart device will be effective during all seasons.

It is designed to remain stable on the pilgrims’ necks whether they are running or walking long distances. Moreover, it has a comfortable portable design, weighing 240 grams, providing a unique and comfortable experience for the pilgrims.

Al-Hetershi hailed the integration and cooperation among the entities working within the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem and their important roles in drawing a clear roadmap and developing innovative solutions.

He added that the association, during its recent participation in the Hajj and Umrah Services Expo, signed 18 memoranda of understanding and joint cooperation with entities within the ecosystem.

These memoranda enhance the service provided to Hajj, Umrah performers, and visitors during the performance of the rituals.
