Taif Investment Forum Discusses Tourism Challenges

The second closing session at the Taif Investment Forum, entitled: “Entertainment, Industry and Investment,” addressed the most important challenges and incentives in developing the tourism sector and the reality of investment in the governorate.

The forum further discussed the Kingdom’s generous support for tourism, in order to achieve the well-being of society and enhance the economy, as it is an important social and economic requirement.
The session’s topics revolved around the tourism sector as one of the most important transformations that the Taif community is experiencing.

Importance of Tourism

 

In the Taif tourism industry, tourism has become a very important tributary to the development of the non-oil domestic product.

It is of great importance as it contributes to the creation of jobs, as the Taif is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Kingdom.

Prince Saud bin Mohammed, Director General of the Tourism Growth Center at the Tourism Development Fund, confirmed the wise leadership supports tourism.

Mohammed stressed that Taif Governorate is promised many diverse and qualitative tourism projects, and a package of various specialized programs that aim to transform ideas into projects and investment.

The Prince pointed out that the governorate  has an important strategic location with a distinctive terrain character. It is home to multiple tourist, historical, and cultural components, as it abounds during the winter with attractive aesthetic qualities.

He indicated that tourism in the governorate is not limited or concentrated in a specific season.
