AlUla Partners with National Company for Learning, Education in New Investment Agreement

The Royal Commission for AlUla has signed an investment agreement with the National Company for Learning and Education to lease, operate, and develop an educational complex in AlUla. The project will be delivered through Trbyh Namouthajyah Schools and aims to enhance the quality of education while expanding learning opportunities for students in AlUla.
This agreement aligns with RCU’s strategic commitment to attracting high-quality investments across key sectors, particularly education, which is considered fundamental to sustainable development. Strengthening educational infrastructure plays a vital role in building human capital and fostering an environment that supports both living and working. It also enables private sector participation in delivering advanced educational services, improving competitiveness and elevating academic outcomes in AlUla.

The project includes the development and operation of existing educational assets, consolidating them into a fully integrated system that spans early childhood through secondary education. This will be implemented in accordance with approved regulations and international best practices.
Under the agreement, RCU will support the project by facilitating processes, providing incentives, and ensuring timely handover of assets. It will also coordinate with relevant authorities to secure all necessary licenses and regulatory approvals.
Meanwhile, NCLE will be responsible for developing, equipping, and operating the educational facilities in line with approved standards. This includes obtaining licenses, maintaining compliance with academic and regulatory frameworks, managing school operations with high efficiency, and overseeing maintenance and essential services to ensure long-term sustainability.
This partnership reflects RCU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the education sector and foster strategic collaborations, contributing to the development of a comprehensive educational ecosystem that meets community needs and supports AlUla’s broader development ambitions.
