Red Sea International Film Festival Announces Call for Entries to Red Sea Souk

The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced that submissions are now open for the Red Sea Souk, its film project platform that supports creatives across the Arab world, Asia, and Africa. This initiative is part of the festival’s upcoming edition, scheduled to take place in Jeddah from December 3 to 12.

According to the organizers, the Red Sea Souk will welcome projects at various stages, including development, production, and post-production. The project market itself will run from December 5 to 9, bringing together producers, financiers, distributors, sales agents, and key industry decision-makers from around the world.
Through this program, filmmakers can compete for both financial and in-kind awards while showcasing their projects to international production and funding partners. The goal is to boost the growth of independent cinema and expand its reach in global markets.
The deadline for submitting projects in development and production is June 11, while works-in-progress can be submitted until July 24.
