King Fahd Road Park to Elevate Jazan’s Recreational Scene

Jazan Municipality has begun the construction of King Fahd Road Park in Jizan city to establish a modern hub that integrates entertainment, sports, and comprehensive services, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The project aligns with Jazan‘s efforts to elevate the region’s urban landscape, expand the scope of public amenities, and enhance the quality of life.

Spanning a total area of 8,440 square meters, the new project features modern walkways and tracks optimized for leisure and fitness, including a recreational promenade and a cycling lane.

The project also offers lush green gardens, open seating areas, and a 60-square-meter facility block, creating an ideal environment for relaxation and quality time in a setting that blends comfort with nature.

Furthermore, it includes various sports courts, including existing facilities and a new padel court, alongside a dedicated children’s play area. These additions aim to promote physical activity, support community sports initiatives, and provide modern facilities that meet the expectations of all age groups.

The project includes 144 square meters for restaurants and 120 square meters for cafes, along with supporting facilities. This aims to boost the local economy and provide visitors with a comprehensive experience that blends leisure with convenience, reinforcing the site’s status as an integrated urban destination within the city.

Jazan boasts diverse natural resources and a strategic coastal position, making its urban centers prime hubs for investment and tourism. The region is currently witnessing accelerated development aimed at upgrading urban infrastructure, enhancing public services, and establishing modern landmarks.

In light of this, Jazan Municipality underscored its commitment to development projects and municipal initiatives aimed at upgrading public facilities, enhancing the urban landscape, and expanding green spaces, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build more vibrant, sustainable, and attractive cities to residents and visitors.
