Qiwa Platform Milestones: 2mn Establishments, 12mn Contracts in Q1 2026

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) has revealed impressive milestones achieved by Qiwa Platform in the first quarter of 2026 (Q1 2026).

The Qiwa Platform recorded over two million registered establishments, 13 million registered workers, and 12 million documented employment contracts in Q1 2026.

These figures highlight the scale of digital transformation within the Kingdom’s labor market. They also align with the HRSD’s ongoing efforts to develop the labor market and boost the efficiency of digital services for businesses and individuals, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

During Q1 2026, Qiwa Platform launched several developmental services, including the unified training contract documentation service which enables private sector establishments to create and document training contracts in accordance with approved regulations.

This service helps safeguard the rights of all parties, increases transparency, improves the quality of training practices, and organizes training pathways within the labor market.

Furthermore, the Platform launched a registration service for Saudi nationals, which aims to regulate employment contracts and enhance job security by reducing irregular multiple contracting. This contributes to curbing ineffective localization practices and raising the overall level of compliance in the market.

In terms of fostering international cooperation and expertise exchange, Qiwa senior officials received a delegation from the World Bank and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia during the first quarter of this year. During the visit, officials presented the platform’s key services and its latest high-impact initiatives.

The HRSD reaffirms its commitment to enhancing Qiwa digital services to bolster labor market efficiency and establish the Kingdom’s position as a global model for digital transformation and the empowerment of work environments.
