Saudi Industry, Mineral Resources Sector Wraps Up Participation at HANNOVER MESSE 2026 in Germany

Saudi Arabia’s Industry and Mineral Resources sector has wrapped up its participation in HANNOVER MESSE 2026, which took place in Germany from April 20 to 24. During the event, the Kingdom highlighted key enablers supporting industrial growth, along with promising investment opportunities across priority sectors.

The delegation also engaged in discussions with various international companies and organizations to explore avenues for collaboration. These efforts focused on building high-quality partnerships, facilitating knowledge transfer, attracting investment, and boosting the competitiveness of Saudi industry.

The sector’s pavilion showcased Saudi Arabia’s industrial transformation journey, emphasizing its ambition to advance manufacturing capabilities and accelerate the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. These initiatives aim to improve productivity and strengthen the Kingdom’s global industrial standing.

In addition, the pavilion presented the country’s investment advantages, investor incentives, and vast mineral wealth—valued at over SAR 9.4 trillion—as a cornerstone for downstream industries and value chains tied to critical minerals and clean energy technologies.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources held meetings with leading global organizations, including Siemens, Festo, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Ziehl-Abegg, Fraunhofer Society, Schneider Electric, SEW-Eurodrive, Schaeffler Technologies, and Deutsche Messe. These discussions aimed to expand strategic partnerships, localize advanced technologies, and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional and global hub for advanced manufacturing.

The pavilion also marked the World Day for Women in Industry on April 21, an initiative adopted during the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, held in Riyadh in November 2025, with broad international participation from policymakers, industry leaders, and global organizations.
