Kayaking has emerged as one of the main attractions at the Al-Hareed Festival in the Farasan Islands, blending outdoor adventure with the area’s natural beauty, according to Arab News.
The activity is currently taking place at Mangrove Beach, an area generally known for its tranquil waters and dense mangrove and tamarisk forests.
The natural waterways provide a captivating setting for exploration, offering visitors a compelling journey through a serene marine landscape.

Through local investment, the site has seen significant transformation into a safe, world-class tourist destination.
The site, supervised by the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Canoe and Kayak Federation, adheres to high safety standards and is equipped with certified lifeguards on duty.
The 2,400-meter round-trip route typically takes between 45 and 60 minutes to complete.

Single- and double-seat kayaks are available. Therefore, visitors can quietly experience the surrounding environment at close range.
The eco-friendly activity further strengthens the Farasan Islands’ position as an emerging destination for sustainable marine tourism in the Red Sea.
