The Makkah Municipality has finalized its preparations to welcome residents and visitors to public parks and recreational areas during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. This comes as part of its continued commitment to offering safe, well-maintained spaces for families to enjoy.
Preparations involved extensive maintenance and upgrades across several parks and public plazas. Work included caring for green areas, trimming trees and plants, maintaining irrigation systems, and ensuring children’s playgrounds, walking paths, seating areas, and lighting are all in excellent condition for the holiday period.
Municipal field teams have also stepped up efforts in cleaning, landscaping, and enhancing the city’s appearance, while closely monitoring the readiness of park facilities. These initiatives aim to create a pleasant and welcoming environment that supports quality of life and provides enjoyable outdoor spaces for everyone in Makkah.
