The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has introduced a sophisticated new sound system across the Grand Mosque in Makkah, significantly improving the delivery of the call to prayer (Adhan), daily prayers, and Friday sermons. Worshippers can now hear every word with remarkable clarity, whether inside the Mosque, in its courtyards, or in the surrounding areas.

To achieve this, more than 260 speakers have been strategically installed along the mosque’s corridors, ensuring even and synchronized sound coverage in all directions. The system is supported by over eight kilometers of cables and fiber optics, creating a highly advanced network that transmits audio instantly and without distortion.

This upgrade reflects the authority’s ongoing commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology in service of pilgrims. By continually enhancing both technical systems and service infrastructure, it seeks to offer visitors from around the world a smooth, enriching, and spiritually uplifting experience.
