Two Holy Mosques Deploy 40 Multilingual Smart Screens

Saudi Arabia’s Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced over 40 multilingual interactive screens, offering worshippers a comprehensive religious guidance and reliable content throughout the holy month of Ramadan, according to Gulf News.

Installed at key locations within the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, the smart screens broadcast trusted religious rulings and guidance to worshippers in more than 50 international languages.

The launch is part of the presidency’s broader push to handle peak Umrah crowds during the blessed month of Ramadan.

By providing visitors and pilgrims with swift access to authenticated religious knowledge, the initiative seeks to foster awareness and correct misconceptions. Therefore, it helps them perform their rituals with confidence and clarity.

Sheikh Ali Al Nafie, Deputy Head of the Intellectual and Awareness Affairs Agency, noted that the smart screens serve as a modern technological tool designed to supporting worshippers and enhancing a spirit of moderation and balanced understanding.

To ensure smooth access, the smart screens have been strategically positioned in prominent areas, including the Mataf Expansion, the Saudi Riwaq, the King Fahd Expansion, as well as the Third Saudi Expansion.

The move perfectly aligns with the directives of Sheikh Abdulrahman Al Sudais, Head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, of developing an advanced digital ecosystem in Ramadan.
