GAMI Governor Ahmad Al-Ohali stated that the third edition of WDS reflects the Kingdom’s strong commitment to innovation, localization, and the development of an integrated defense ecosystem. He also emphasized that the exhibition serves as a platform connecting government entities with international partners, and will feature a comprehensive program that includes live air and land demonstrations, static displays, and newly introduced zones designed to expand opportunities for partnership and integration between Saudi entities and major national and global defense companies.

Al-Ohali added that the show supports national efforts to localize more than 50 percent of military spending in line with Vision 2030, while also enhancing operational readiness and reinforcing the Kingdom’s strategic independence in the defense sector.
WDS CEO Andrew Pearcey noted that the exhibition features a fully equipped airport, including a 2,700-meter runway, four taxiways, and extensive display areas showcasing the latest aircraft. These capabilities underscore the show’s standing as a premier global defense event capable of hosting large-scale, integrated demonstrations.

Finally, the World Defense Show is expected to attract higher participation than previous editions, reflecting continued growth in exhibitor numbers, official delegations, and international engagement.
