Saudi Arabia is bringing its Red Sea yachting destinations closer together with the launch of Red Sea Global’s new “Yacht Network”.
The network serves as a unified platform connecting marinas and yacht clubs along the Kingdom’s western coast.
To ensure more connectivity, the network brings the company’s marine services under a single management system, providing yacht owners, charter guests, captains and crews with a more seamless way to experience the Red Sea.
What Will a Connected Red Sea Look Like?
From winter 2026, the waters between Amaala and Shura Island will form a connected marine corridor for private and charter yachts.
Therefore, vessels can sail between the two destinations under a single berthing agreement and access 278 berths across two marinas.
The network will initially feature two marina hubs, with Amaala Marina offering 119 berths and Shura Island Marina providing 159. Both will welcome yachts measuring up to 120 meters.
Its reach is expected to expand further in 2027, when additional marinas and anchorage areas are set to join the network.
Making Red Sea Yachting Seamless
For John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea Global Group, the Yacht Network represents another significant step toward strengthening the Red Sea’s position as a pioneering destination for the international yachting community.
By linking destinations through a single network, the initiative seeks to create a more connected experience for yacht owners and charter guests, while facilitating berthing and marine services for captains and crews.
Pagano said the ambition is to make sailing between the company’s destinations feel effortless, while delivering the refined level of service expected by the global yachting community.
Two Gateways to the Red Sea
Positioned approximately 2,400 kilometers from Monaco via the Suez Canal, Amaala Yacht Club stands as a gateway to the Red Sea, linking visitors with Amaala, Red Sea Global’s ultra-luxury wellness destination.
The network’s second hub, Shura Island Marina, represents the largest marina on a Saudi island, offering direct access to Shura Island, the dynamic heart of The Red Sea destination.
How Can Yachting Balance Luxury and Responsibility?
More significantly, the Yacht Network will pair operational standards with environmental responsibility, following the Saudi Red Sea Authority’s regulatory code and the marine stewardship approach led by Corallium – Marine Life Institute at Amaala.
Red Sea Global also draws on its memberships in the Marina Industries Association under the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, the Marine Recreation Association and the Yacht Harbor Association, helping anchor its marina operations in established standards of service and operational excellence.
