The strangest wedding ceremony in Egypt

In a strange and funny incident, Izbat al-Sfih area of Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate, in northern Egypt, has witnessed the strangest wedding style, in order to avoid infection of the newlyweds with the Corona virus, to implement social distance, and to escape security prosecution.

The newlyweds’ families resorted to a trick in order to avoid the violation of the government’s decisions of preventing gatherings and holding popular weddings in the streets and halls.

They resorted to a strange ploy, which is to hold the ceremony on the IRON LOADER to prevent crowding around the newlyweds, and in order not to be infected with the virus.

The crane carried the newlyweds and derived around the streets of the area, amid the gathering of people and launch of the ululations, accompanied by the voices of the municipal flute, without taking preventive measures, whether for the newlyweds or the families.

The ceremony lasted about an hour before the couple went to the marital home.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian government announced last March, following the spread of the epidemic, the banning of weddings and solace in the streets to prevent the spread of the epidemic.

The authorities intervened more than once to break up weddings held in the streets and halls of Cairo, Giza, Port Said, Sharkia, and Beni Suef.

The number of injured in Egypt reached more than 34 thousand, while the number of deaths exceeded 1200 cases.
