Soudah Development, Saudi Coffee Companies Boost Coffee Cultivation

Soudah Development Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Coffee Company to expand and boost coffee’s cultivation on the Soudah Peaks.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the partnership aims particularly to foster and empower Al-Soudah Peaks’s pivotal role in producing high-quality local coffee.

The deal will further enhance the sustainable development and deeply explore the environmental and agricultural potential in the Peaks.

Thus, both companies will collaborate to prepare a list of suitable sites for planting coffee trees and identify appropriate local varieties.

Then, they will plant several coffee trees based on the geographical nature of the project area.

Moreover, they will study the environmental impact of water use in coffee cultivation and implement the necessary measures to enhance integrated agricultural management.

Soudah Development CEO Saleh Aloraini stated that the current partnership represents a significant milestone in the company’s pursuit to promote sustainable agricultural practices and engage the local community.

“Our collaboration with the Saudi Coffee Company not only accelerates our goal of planting more than one million trees in the project area by 2030 and stimulating local economic growth, but also plays an important role in preserving the rich cultural heritage in the region,” Saleh Aloraini said.

Aloraini underscored his company’s commitment to developing coffee cultivation in the Soudah Peaks and providing unique and seamless experiences for visitors.

In the same context, Saudi Coffee Company CEO Khalid Abu Theeb emphasized that the deal seeks to support coffee cultivation in Saudi Arabia, empower local farmers, and enhance the economic growth.
