His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, inaugurated in his office, the second edition of the project of the “Study of the Status of Social Responsibility in the Eastern Region.”
His Highness reviewed the executive plan of the project to study the reality of social responsibility in the region in its second version, stressing the importance of such field research studies that are based on modern scientific and research standards.
Furthermore, his Highness appreciated the support of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University and the Asharqia Chamber to carry out the study. Usually social responsibility is an important field in developing societies, and the culture of social responsibility has no specific time or place. It will remain as long as people and places remain, and it will not succeed unless all efforts are combined.
The President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rubaish, stressed the importance of the current study. It will bring about a balanced integration between the state and the different sectors of society within the framework of social responsibility.
While the Secretary General of the Eastern Region Council for Social Responsibility Lulwa Al-Shammari explained that this study was directed by Princess Abeer Bint Faisal, Chair of the Trustees of the Eastern Region Council for Social Responsibility.
The study keeps pace with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in its development paths towards achieving social and economic security throughout the Kingdom and the Eastern Region in particular. It will enable all sectors and individuals to benefit from it in order to enable social responsibility and advance development.
