Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism is hosting the “Artificial Intelligence in Tourism” conference as part of Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit) that kicked off today in Riyadh, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Artificial Intelligence in Tourism Conference
The conference will feature numerous discussions to highlight the pivotal role of artificial intelligence AI in driving innovation, cooperation and sustainability in the Saudi tourism sector.
Other meetings will revolve around AI’s contribution to boosting business efficiency and guest experience especially in this crucial time in which the Kingdom is witnessing unprecedented rapid growth.
The event will also tackle the importance of AI ethics to ensure a sustainable sector and the role of AI culture in building cross-cultural links.
“Our collaboration with pioneering AI organizations emphasizes Saudi Arabia’s commitment to revolutionizing tourism through advanced technology. By harnessing the power of AI, we aim to enrich visitor experiences and drive sustainable growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030,” said Ministry of Tourism Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation and Information Technology (IT) Aljoharah Almogbel.
GAIN Summit
The 3rd Global AI (GAIN) Summit in Riyadh delves into the worldwide interest in data and artificial intelligence and their impact on decision-making and business facilitation, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) in Riyadh from September 10 to 12, 2024, the summit features over 300 speakers, including experts, specialists, and decision-makers from 100 countries worldwide.
The 3rd edition boasts 120 dialogue sessions and workshops to discuss whether the relationship between the human mind and AI is complementary or competitive, and the impact of this interaction on human decision-making.
The summit sheds light on the advanced technologies as a real power that can contribute to achieving the common good of humanity.
In the same context, the participants will discuss how to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on the growth of business activities and productivity and motivate employees within an attractive work environment that meets the aspirations of business leaders.
Therefore, it provides the attendees with a valuable platform to discuss the best practices of utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to make strategic decisions and support responsible leadership.
The summit also tackles the ability of the artificial intelligence systems to understand human language and foster the learning experience.
