Saudi Summer 2021: choose your tourist destination
Abdullah Al-Dakhil, the official spokesperson for the Saudi Tourism Authority, explained the criteria for selecting tourist areas in conjunction with the launch of the Saudi Summer 2021 program.

During a television interview, he reviewed how the tourist areas are selected within the Summer of Saudi Arabia program, according to the geographical location, which guarantees tourists diversity of recreational activities.
He pointed out that the focus is on two types of tourism in the 11 destinations announced earlier.
First type
Mountain destinations: cold weather, especially in Asir, Al Baha and Taif, with typical weather that suits families.
Second type
Marine destinations: clean air and charming coastal places, such as Umluj, Yanbu and King Abdullah Economic City, due to their various aquatic activities and diving adventures.
The Spirit of Saudi Arabia website includes more than 500 tourism packages and provides more than 250 partners from the private sector.
