Saudi Space Agency Launches ‘Knowledge Space’ Portal

The Saudi Space Agency (SSA) launched the “Knowledge Space” digital portal on Saturday to mark World Space Week and raise awareness of space sciences, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The portal aims to simplify space concepts and highlight the role of space in advancing sustainable development and promoting the quality of human life.

It consists of three main sections, the first of which focuses on awareness resources. This section features an integrated library offering publications, pictures, designs and educational materials for browsing and download.

It also includes interactive content such as competitions, stickers and simplified learning activities.

Meanwhile, the space encyclopedia seeks to broaden readers’ scientific horizons through a group of accessible yet comprehensive articles on several topics—including the spherical Earth, Mars, and space debris.

As for the educational section, it boasts visual content, including awareness videos designed to offer a better understanding of scientific concepts and present them in an engaging manner that resonates with all segments of society.
