Saudi SDRPY works to develop buildings & laboratories at Aden University
The project of equipping the buildings and laboratories of the College of Pharmacy and the Criminal Research Laboratory at the College of Law at the University of Aden keeps pace with its various components and the specialized practical side of the students of Aden University.
The project serves the relevant government sectors and contributes to raising their capabilities and helping them to perform their tasks, as well as contributing to the support and continuation of educational programs at the College of Pharmacy, which comes with the support and implementation of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.
The project of equipping the buildings and laboratories of the College of Pharmacy comes to provide an appropriate education and training environment to implement educational programs in the college following the academic and technical standards required for this type of specialized education.
The project of equipping the buildings and laboratories of the College of Pharmacy and the Criminal Research Laboratory includes equipping 28 laboratories with departments of the College of Pharmacy for Pharmaceutical Industries and a specialized laboratory for research, as well as equipping administrative offices and offices of the educational body.
Moreover, the project includes preparing classrooms and graduate study halls and developing the central library of the college, which contains reading rooms and book libraries.
The second component of the project comes through the equipment and furnishing of the College of Law “Criminal Investigation”, which is the first of its kind in the Republic of Yemen, and contains units for collecting forensic evidence and detecting crime, including fingerprints, bullets, drugs, document examination, fires, and everything else relating to crime.
The project includes equipping the forensic lab at the Faculty of Law, which is a substantial and independent achievement in itself, in support of the capabilities of the security authorities in the governorate and raising their capabilities. It also provides adequate training for security personnel and forensic specialists working in the field.
The services of the forensic laboratory at the Faculty of Law at the University of Aden include training services that will not be limited to the educational sector only, but to serve the security and judicial sectors in Aden in particular and in the various governorates of the Republic of Yemen, through training security cadres to develop their skills in the field of criminal investigations, criminology, and forensic medicine.
The project is among (224) development projects and initiatives implemented by the SDRPY in various Yemeni governorates to serve the Yemeni brothers in (7) basic sectors, namely: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, and capacity building of government institutions, In addition to development programs.
