Saudi king, Crown prince congratulate Macron on his re-election as President of France

The Saudi custodian of the Two Holy Mosques On the occasion of his re-election for a new presidential term, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud extended a cable of congratulations to Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.

According to the Saudi Press Agency “SPA,” King Salman sent his sincerest congratulations and best wishes for success to Macron, as well as to the friendly people of the French Republic, for further progress and prosperity.

He also lauded the specialties that exist between the two friendly countries and peoples, which everyone wants to enhance and grow in all areas.

Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent Macron a cable of congratulations.

The Crown Prince extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for Macron’s achievement, as well as for the people of France, for continued prosperity and advancement.

It’s worth noting that, according to early polling results, Emmanuel Macron was re-elected as President of France for a second term on Sunday, defeating his opponent, Marine Le Pen.

According to such estimates, the centrist Macron received between 57.6 and 58.2 percent of the vote, ahead of the National Rally candidate, who received between 41.8 and 42.4 percent of the vote.

According to AFP, the percentage of people who did not vote ranged between 27.8% and 29.8%.
