Saudi GEA Sets New Guinness World Record with World’s Largest Honorary Shield
The Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Riyadh Season, and Joy Festival 2025 have achieved a remarkable success through the creation of the world’s largest honorary shield that entered the Guinness World Records.
The shield boasts 15.13 metres tall, serving as a testament to the Kingdom’s thriving global achievements in the entertainment sector, Gulf News reported
Furthermore, it accelerates the General Entertainment Authority’s track record of setting world records across entertainment and creative industries.
On Saturday 18 Jan, Saudi Arabia revealed the colossal shield outside the Joy Awards ceremony venue at ANB Arena. During the ceremony, the GEA has officially received the Guinness World Records certificate.
Interestingly, the event brought together several prominent Saudi, Arab, and international artistic figures with a vibrant atmosphere.
