With outstanding performance and creative language, Saudi female soldier Abeer Al-Rashed gave the press conference for the leaders of the Hajj security forces yesterday, Tuesday. She became the first Saudi woman to do so.
At first, soldier Abeer, who appeared in her military uniform, saluted the leaders of Hajj security and then stood on the podium with confidence to present the conference.
Among the attendees were the Director of Public Security, the Commander of Hajj Security Forces, Major General ZayedTowan, and several military leaders in the Ministry of Interior.

Expanding women’s rights
The Saudi female soldier is an employee of the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
The act comes when Saudi government agencies are taking a series of measures to expand women’s rights and empower them in light of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Ministry of Interior has enabled Saudi women to work in various disciplines and administrative tasks in the security sector.
